# Work with trax

> Use chat to find leads, review workspace information, and prepare campaigns.

Open **trax** and describe the outcome you want. Include the audience, topic, or lead you mean so trax can work with the right context.

Examples:

* “Show me warm leads at software companies.”
* “Find posts about hiring a first sales team.”
* “Review our lead criteria and suggest a narrower audience.”
* “Create a campaign for the leads in our founder view.”

## Search your leads or find new people

A lead search reviews people already in your workspace. The **Your matching leads** panel and counts marked **already in traxy** describe existing leads, not new discoveries. A short result list may show only the top matches.

To discover new people, ask for new leads or choose **Find more**. Review the discovery approval and remaining capacity before starting. Existing-lead searches do not consume capacity for new leads.

## Review results

The chat shows progress and the outcome of each action. Larger results, such as lead lists and campaigns, open beside the conversation. Open a lead to inspect its details and signal before deciding what to do next.

For a specific LinkedIn post, include its URL and explain whether you want to inspect the post, find similar posts, or work with its audience.

## Approve actions

When the Agent proposes an action that needs approval, inspect the card before selecting **Approve** or **Decline**. Configuration changes show the proposed values. Discovery requests show capacity information. Contact requests identify the lead and the requested contact data.

A draft or recommendation is not a completed change. Check the action's result after approval. Campaigns have a separate [test and launch review](https://docs.traxy.ai/campaigns/review-and-launch.md).

## Manage a conversation

Use **New chat** to start another request. Open earlier chats from the **trax** menu. Pinned chats appear separately from conversations grouped by recency. You can rename, pin, or archive a chat from its menu.

Sharing a chat gives members of the same workspace read access through its link. They cannot reply or approve actions in your shared chat. Stop sharing when that access is no longer needed.

Use the stop control to end an active turn. Review any completed actions before asking the Agent to repeat the request.

## Review discovery runs

**trax** > **Discovery runs** shows lead-discovery execution and history. Use [Discovery runs](https://docs.traxy.ai/discovery/agent-runs.md) when you need to understand what discovery scanned or why it paused.
