# Exports and deleted leads

> Export selected lead data and recover deleted leads.

Use exports to take the selected lead data into another workflow. Use deletion only when you want to remove leads from normal workspace views.

## Export leads

1. Open **Leads** and apply the intended view and filters.
2. Review the selection before starting an export.
3. Choose the columns and available enrichment options.
4. Confirm the export and follow its progress.
5. Download the file when the export is ready.

Use **Settings** > **Exports** to review export history. An export that is queued or processing is not ready to download. If it fails, review the reason before retrying.

Deleting a finished export removes its downloadable file and history entry. It does not delete the underlying leads. Active exports cannot be deleted while they are processing.

## Delete and restore leads

Review the confirmation carefully before deleting a selection. Use **Settings** > **Deleted leads** to review recoverable leads and restore those you need.

Deleting or restoring a previously delivered lead does not refund or consume pipeline capacity. If you only want to finish work on a lead, use **Done** instead. If you need to suppress outreach, use [Do not contact](https://docs.traxy.ai/outreach/do-not-contact.md).
