One MCP connection can authorize up to 50 explicitly selected workspaces. The original default remains the default for calls that omit workspaceId.

Select the workspace

  1. Call traxy_list_workspaces to resolve accessible names and IDs.
  2. Select the workspace named by the user. If several are available and none is clear, ask which one to use.
  3. Pass its workspaceId on every scoped tool call, including pagination and follow-up actions.
  4. Keep entity IDs and cursors tied to the workspace that returned them.
Example arguments for a lead read:
Use an actual ID returned by workspace discovery. There is no server-side active-workspace switch. Omitting the ID does not reuse the workspace from the preceding call.

Handle access changes

If access to a selected workspace is lost, refresh the workspace list and explain the failure. Do not silently substitute another workspace. Reauthorize when the user wants to add a workspace to the consent set. Listing or comparing several workspaces does not authorize writes to all of them.

Protocol and tool discovery

traxy uses Streamable HTTP MCP and supports protocol versions 2025-06-18 and 2025-11-25. Initialization echoes either supported version or selects 2025-11-25 when the requested version is unsupported. tools/list filters the public catalog to the grant and currently accessible workspaces. A listed tool may still be unavailable in one particular workspace; each call rechecks permission there. The schemas returned by tools/list are the exact argument contract for the active connection.
