Use a sequence for several steps over time. Use a one-off message for a single action to one lead.

Prepare outreach

Open a lead’s Message action or ask trax to prepare outreach. Review To, From, the channel, and the message content. For a sequence, review each step and the wait before it. A wait can depend on an event such as connection acceptance. Choose sender names with the channels the sequence requires. A lead can be in only one active sequence at a time. Check existing outreach before enrolling the same person elsewhere.

Approve sending

For one step, Send is the approval. Adding follow-ups creates a sequence; Activate sequence approves activation and enrollment for the selected lead. After activation, inspect the recorded status. Sending, Sent, Not sent, and May have been sent have different meanings. An uncertain result must not be treated as a failed send and repeated blindly.

Pause and resume

Pausing a sequence keeps each lead’s position and stops further delivery until it resumes. You can also pause a lead’s enrollment from its Inbox conversation. Resuming the whole sequence does not release a lead you paused separately. Replies, unsubscribe requests, and hard bounces stop active outreach. Sender availability, spacing, and limits can also delay the next step.
