Use this page as a fast reference when you know a lead engaged but you need to decide what to do next.

How to use this sheet

Start with three questions:
  1. How strong is the ICP fit?
  2. How fresh is the signal?
  3. Does the signal show real interest or just light awareness?
Then use the table below to choose the first move.

Fast rules

  • Comments, shares, repeat engagement, and company clusters beat one-off reactions.
  • If the engagement was light, reference the topic instead of the exact action.
  • If the signal is old, make the topic do the work. Do not lean on the stale action.
  • If you cannot explain why the signal matters in one sentence, do not reach out yet.

What to skip

Skip or hold when:
  • fit is weak and the signal is weak
  • the person was already contacted recently
  • the engagement came from a noisy, high-volume post with no follow-through
  • the topic is sensitive enough that outreach would feel opportunistic
For the full framework, use outbound to signal-based leads.
